Frequently Asked Dental Questions – Fort Worth, TX

Questions? Get Your Answers Here!

When you’re considering a new dental office, you can have a lot of questions. We want to answer them for you so that you can make the best decision possible for you and your loved ones. Below are some of the most common questions we’ve heard from patients and our responses to them. Please take a minute to review this information, but feel free to get in touch with us if you have other questions about our dental office.

How often should I visit the dentist?

Along with the American Dental Association, we recommend at least two dental visits per calendar year. If you have oral problems like cavities or gum disease, you may require additional appointments, but coming every six months is necessary to keep your smile healthy and free from damaging issues. During this visit, we’ll clean hard plaque from your teeth and take care of problems before they have a chance to cause harm.

Do you treat children?

Absolutely! We treat patients of all ages, ranging from small children to aging seniors. We have designed our dental office to be a comfortable environment for everyone, and our friendly team is excited to welcome you to our dental family!

Why is it important to take care of my gums?

The health of your gums plays a pivotal role in keeping your smile strong. Gum disease, also called periodontal disease, is the leading cause of tooth loss among adults around the world, and studies have found a close connection between gum disease and serious medical conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and Alzheimer’s. Luckily, our team can help you prevent and fight gum disease through regular thorough cleanings and specialized periodontal therapy.

Which cosmetic procedure is right for me?

We offer a wide range of procedures that can give you the appearance you want for your smile. From simple teeth whitening to more complex porcelain veneers or metal-free restorations, we can customize treatment to fit your specific goals. But we can’t tell which procedure will be the best fit for you until we are able to examine the current state of your teeth. It all starts with a consultation with one of our highly skilled dentists!

Why should I consider dental implants to replace my missing teeth?

Dentures and bridges may fill in the obvious gap left by your missing teeth, but dental implants go deeper and replace the root structure as well as the crown. As a result, dental implants offer much more stability, a stronger jaw bone, and other health and cosmetic benefits. That’s why we always recommend that patients think about getting dental implants to hold their dental prosthetics in place.

Do you accept my dental insurance?

Yes, we do! Feel free to bring in your insurance information, and we’ll file claims to save you on your dental healthcare costs. Prior to starting any procedure, we can go through your coverage with you so that you always know what you’ll owe out-of-pocket.
